What H20 Means

Common Causes of H20
- The water supply valve behind the dishwasher partially or fully closed
- A kinked or blocked water supply hose

🔧 One Safe Check You Can Try
Verify the water supply valve behind the dishwasher is fully open, and check the water supply line for kinks — JennAir's own guidance leads with these two checks before treating it as an internal fault.
⚠ Why You Shouldn't Go Further Than That
- If the supply valve and hose are confirmed fine, the inlet valve sits directly in the pressurized water line, and disconnecting it without shutting off the supply first can flood the cabinet below.
- A water line reconnected even slightly loose after inspection is a common source of a slow leak inside the cabinetry.
- This fault can be misdiagnosed as a flow meter or float switch issue, leading to replacing the wrong, unnecessary part.
- Getting to the inlet valve assembly means disconnecting water lines and pulling the dishwasher partly out of its housing, a combination that often can affect whatever warranty coverage remains — check your terms first.
