JennAir Range Repair

Range Repair, Done Right the First Time

JennAir ranges carry the company's signature downdraft ventilation into a freestanding footprint — pairing a full oven cavity with a cooktop and, on downdraft models, a built-in vent system, all diagnosable in a single visit.

A JennAir range combines an oven cavity with a cooktop under one control system, and on downdraft range models, adds the same integrated ventilation JennAir pioneered decades ago: a blower, damper, and duct run built into the range itself rather than a hood overhead. That third system means a range call can involve up to three genuinely separate problems — the oven side not heating evenly, a burner or induction zone not cooking properly, and a downdraft vent that won’t rise, retract, or pull air the way it should.

Our technicians diagnose all three independently rather than assuming one fault explains everything, checking the oven’s temperature sensor and igniter, the cooktop’s burners or induction elements, and — where equipped — the downdraft blower motor and damper mechanism, in the same appointment.

FAQ

Range Repair FAQ

Not harder, just more thorough — there's a third system (the downdraft blower and damper) to check alongside the usual oven and burner diagnostics, and our technicians test all three.

Usually not. A clicking igniter that won't light is typically a targeted, affordable igniter replacement rather than a bigger fault.

Yes, the oven cavity and control board are diagnosed and repaired independently of the downdraft hardware, which lives in a separate section of the range.
